I used to have a Piccolo years ago. I've got a couple of digital ones now. Unless the Piccolo was on a dead level surface left to right it would be slightly off the beat every second click. I practice electric guitar unplugged and the volume control on the digital metronomes is useful, especially late at night. However, some digital metronomes have an indistinct beep with no crisp attack. I was thinking about getting another Piccolo for old time's sake.

I been using an app called stage metronome. It's been quite good. Especially for triplets 👍

I don’t use a metronome any longer. I use a Beat Buddy drum pedal.

I don't use mechanical metronomes, because of 21st century on a yard.
