Mechanical Vibration: Undamped Forced Vibration

This video derives the frequency response function (vibration displacement over a unit force) of an undamped single-degree-of-freedom system.

Very helpful and intuitive explanation, Thank you :) Could you do a video about a case that has more than one degree of freedom, for instance bending and torsion motion? How is the resonance will be expressed?

Thanks Hossam. For more than SDOF, it will be covered in Multi Degree of Freedom system (for discrete system). For a continuous system like beam, rod or plate, this involves wave propagation. Usually covered in details in subject ‘Sturctural Dynamics’.
