So for X1, do you multiply the function by (1/m) / (1/m^2)?

What if the force is sinusoidal? I mean F= F0*sin(wt). How are we going to make cos(wt) cancelation?

If the force is assumed to be sinusoidal, then d2x/dt2 is a sin term as well and still cancels
