Mechanism of ischemic T wave inversion

T wave represents repolarization of the ventricles. Normally, the T wave is positive is all leads, except V1 and aVR. But during repolarization, the membrane potential is below baseline. In this case the T wave would be negative. How to explain this?
How to explain the fact that in the case of ischemia T waves inversion occurs?

I learned from another video saying that the reason that T is the same direction as R wave is because during systole the cardial myocytes under the endocardium are last to repolarize compared to cardial myocyte under the epicardium because of the pressure during contraction. In your video, you mentioned it is the longer action potential of the myocyte under the endocardium causing the delay in repolarization. So, which is the correct answer?

I do not get 1:41 if the wave of repolarisation is moving inwards in the a normal heart from epi to end, It would go against the general direction of the vector how is it shown as a positive deflection on a ECG t wave?

Direction of vector is from positive to negative, as in repolarzation, membrane potential is at sub zero level vector is directed from endocardium to epicardium. So even if repolarization wave is directed inwards, vector is actually directed outwards i.e. towards the lead. That's why t wave is positive on ecg.

ECG has been done for my father. He is weak and 72 years old. He has high BP some time. He takes ecospirin av 75 every night. As per the ECG report Sinus bradycardia . Right bundle branch block. T wave abnormality, consider lateral ischemia Abnormal ECG. I have attached the ECG report. Could you please suggest what to do now. Any surgery required? Should he continue ecospirin av 75. Please advise

I thought that the T wave inversion occurred in the later stages of a STEMI. So when the necrosis is already transmural. So I don't understand how the T wave should be inverted in this case, since the subendocardio should be dead thus not being able to repolarize?

The subendocardial cells aren’t dead in this case, they are just ischemic not dead yet
