"Modern day anime" is a very wide margin. Some anime have bigger budgets than others or less experienced staff. Like this quality dwarfs some anime but also pales in comparison to even some older shows.

Seeing this video makes me really sad. This was kinda the height of hots in my opinion. I know the remaining devs are trying their best, it’s just that seeing the state of the game now compared to 2018 is kinda heartbreaking. To the remaining devs and fans keep the game alive.

I like how all they're promoting are a couple of badass skins, and they totally could have just said, "Oh, we're adding mecha skins for a few heroes. Cool, huh?" BUT NO, THEY HAD TO MAKE A GIANT BADASS ANIME FIGHT. BECAUSE WHY NOT? I love Blizzard. They're so extra.

This cinematic and lore is pretty cool but we can't forget that literally every MOBA has skin lore ranging from cinematics to comics and short stories. Just to name a few... HoN skin lore (black legion, URSA Corps, cyber universe, etc.) LoL skin lore (project, star guardians, bloodmoon, etc.) Smite skin lore and events (various Odyssey events and skins) Dota2 (Arcana skin lore) The list goes on and on...

This is the problem with Blizzard, they can make great animation and great skins, but forget about great engine with instant reconnect, great matchmaking and great ranked system that won't place last season platinums in master.

+Wandering Harlow There are really not that many opportunities for music in that game. They can’t really have some epic tracks pumping out during a match, because it would disctract people from the fact that it’s a PvP match. Unless you’re playing Lucio, or something. There’s the menu, and little jingles when loading a map, but that’s about all they can reasonably fit in. Though, PvE events give them more flexability. I wish there were more of those.

There is something REALLY wrong with Blizzard when they don't realize by themselves that this should not be just a trailer but a series of OVAs or a web series.
