If they are set on the no hardware look, they could do a captive pivot with the adjustment side on the lock side and just make a little access hole through the scale and a black screw you could adjust as needed. You'd still have the issue with disassembly and the adhesive, but at least you could keep the pivot tight and adjust as needed.

Hey MC! Sender of the knife here. And I completely agree with what you said here. I had seen this knife a little while ago, and did my research on it. I knew it had the issue with the inlays not allowing access to the pivot. As stated in the note from the unboxing, I got it for a better price, like new, from a guy who works for mechforce. I love the aesthetic and I plan to replace the inlays. I plan on seeing if magnets can be placed in there to make it easier, much like the piratech. If you had wanted to, I wouldn't have cared if you wanted to show the removal of them, I use that knife so some marks don't bother me. But no worries there. I know mechforce has released some other knives that also look really nice! And as far as I know, they all have pivots and aren't using adhesive for inlays.

my pena x dogleg is about year old and im using it everyday and im opening and closing it for 2 to 5 hours a day, it has rotating pivot you need two bits to adjust but, BUT it NEVER needed adjustment so far, i cant live without fidgeting with this knife its so good and it doesnt care, it has milisecond left to right out of the box and didnt change a bit, locktite is doing its job

I might pay $100 for a knife with glued on inlays that have to be carefully pried off to get inside the knife, but thats tops. And the knife would have to be REALLY awesome/special.

Love the design.. Really hope they do a 2.0 with magnets or something. I'll buy one immediately. Adhesive is a deal breaker unfortunately.

This knife gave me an idea for a better design. You could just use clips that press on with o rings to fit it snugly. Basically the same way door panels are attached on cars. The removal would be done by prying underneath and replacing the clips if they break.

I feel like if you're going to go to so much trouble to hide the hardware, you should put the lockbar screws on the inside too.

Yeah they should have used magnets or a system like the WE OAO where the inlays slide off or use a detent system

Thinking the same thing. This is a lower quality knockoff of the WE OAO. My OAO runs circles round this knife.

The only times I've seen "screwless" knives work is either traditional slipjoints that you can't take apart or some of Rike's and Snecx's designs that are like metal puzzleboxes. This knife looks cool, but...Yeah.

I really wanted this knife. But for me the adhesive is a no go. Put magnets on this thing and I will buy it in a heartbeat. You can get the no hardware look in multiple ways other than tape. 😂

Not going to lie, the glue-on scales is a dealbreaker. If they found a different or easier way to do this then maybe. It also baffles me that they did the scale thing to hide all the hardware but then the lockbar insert hardware is visible???? Edit: Wait you can't even use the slot? Yeah that's the bigger dealbreaker.

Adhesive strips? That is absurd. Magnets, clips, lock pins through the sides... anything but adhesive strips! That's a great knife, but they didn't think the design all the way through.

hey, since i wrote 1 comment which i do once a year maybe not, let me ask another question, so lets be honest para series are garbage, i had para 3 and pm2 both are useless in hard work, action is BAD, i never had suck an ergonomicly useless knife, i know that once you lock in on para3 god knows how will you drop it but knife is a tool you are human not robot and you WILL grab it in many diferant ways, not only in 1 single grip. and they still compare other knives with that, i know that many ppl have that knife but is it good idea that comparison item sucks along other knives?

I'm a huge fan of the Para 3 when it comes to general edc AND hard work environments. Tons of other people have the same opinion as me. It sounds like it just isn't for you. It's very rare that i hear anything bad about it. Not a big deal. Just find something else that works for you 👍
