@@mrbigglezworth42 just like in the game, the atlas has chosen to focus on and shoot at the light mech that they can barely hit lol.

My first time playing the table top my Atlas shot it's AC-20 at a Griffin and ended up critting it's right torso, taking out a part of the engine in the process.

My first match was facing my dad. My Awesome,Wolfhound,Dragon and Wolverine Vs His Cyclops, Hunchback, Catapult and Spider. Things went well at first with the Hunchback getting wiped by a lot of Headshots by the Wolfhound. Then everything fell apart when over the next few turns every shot from the Awesome missed the Cyclops, the cyclops erased the dragon with an AC-20 headshot (Just for headshot counting here, the Wolfhound rolled all but one M laser as a headshot when it Alpha striked the Hunchback and then AC-20 brings us to 5 headshots rolled). Then the spider survived a punching fight with the Awesome and the Catapult blew the arms off the Wolfhound. The Cyclops only was hit once in the entire battle and walked right over the rest of my lance. Never seen dice like that before or since,on one hand headshots aplenty yet the Awesome missed some insanely easy shots. Oh this was also my dad's first match in longer than I've been alive....his first time back since the clans came out.

I still play Mechwarrior 3 and 4 regularly and listen to this while playing those classic gems.

@@GhostBear3067 do you think they'll ever make a MechWarrior Game pertaining to Freebirths only? In truth, I really don't think that worshipping Alexander Kerensky's Blood is worth it. besides meaning of the true Mechwarriors are actually The Mercenaries. They were Freebirths like me. They weren't even members of any Clan. And I piloted Mechs before on a few other games.

Starwolf1991 I'm anxiously awaiting Snake City as well. It's a joy all its own to be able to listen to new renditions of the older songs. Nice to hear them at a longer duration than the average 2 minutes as well.

'Dragon's Teeth' and 'Trojan Horse' would be blissful ones too with all that goodness.

PTKilowatt MW2 Mercenaries also had the better gameplay, since you had to manage your Mechs, finances, missions, etc. It was the first Mechwarrior game I ever played, and I still love it to this day :)

Birgir Birgisson To be fair Mercenaries was the first mechwarrior game that I played so I probably have a bit of a hefty nostalgia bias on my end... but in a way that's sort of the beauty of the Mechwarrior games. Where you come in pretty much dictates how you think this franchise should "feel", with us on one end and the MW2 fans saying it should be more of a warrior culture and less of an outright brawl. Of course there's really only one way to settle that argument; challenge the clanner mutant freaks to their own game, then when they're least expecting it CHEAT HARD!

Have you listened to the soundtracks of mw4? Mw4 mercs has same metal influences.

Don't forget the Clan Streak SRM 6's! Nothing beats 'em for close-in toe-to-toe combat !
