Excellent video. I share your enthusiasm about Medford knives and the incredible craftsmanship. I would also agree with your general evaluation and ratings. My regular EDC rotation finds the Slim Medi (tanto and clip point ) more conductive to urban carry- I live in a beach community in SoCal. Yes, we have to be careful not "to whip one out" in public ! Pretty sure Greg would help you out with any issues with the knives you are saying are "out of warranty". I think that is more of an "if you mess it up while taking it apart, we won't fix it for free" type clause.

I had a viper that had bad heat treat. I couldn't sharpen it without it having a bunch of micro chips in it. I had sharpened like 10 medfords at that point. Other than that have had nothing but good experiences with Medford knives and their customer service. I have been carrying a full blackout general with np3 spacer for 19months now. The pvd coating is holding up amazingly.

You have 3V all wrong, it doesn’t hold an edge as long as S35VN, it is less corrosion resistant then D2, and it isn’t brittle at all, it literally is the toughest chip resistant steel available for pocket knives.

you only show the so-called presentation side whereby the side with the clip is showing more features that need to be well-designed. The clip is crucial in its design and choice of material.... so please, show the clip side some more... if you do not, I feel I have not seen the knife yet.

It just holds a special place for me and want for a Medford for their overly built designs that above all other reasons keep my interest. 3V Genius for my 1st is the goal for 2019

I had 1 copper knife. It looked amazing new. The patina looked like complete trash after 1 day of carry.

That is not rust in the viper choil they just must not have finish ground that part after heat treat so it is just some heat treat scale.

How much was the mokuti knife?

Maybe the micro action isn’t as good because it’s a coated blade vs the other non coated?

The key is to buy on the secondary and sell on the secondary then you don’t lose money if you do it right.
