Body language and posture definitely does. I’m not sure what you mean by terminology - could you be more specific?

@@MrSmithEnglishandMedia by terminology I mean words. For example in vogue advert there are phrases like “bare essientials” and “birthday suit” which connotes how women are sexualised. If I analyse the words in a media language question does it count?

@@rebekkah725 my teacher told me i was supposed to talk about how it’s weakness is that there are many other ways for the consumer to decode the signs and and take a negotiated reading for example other than what the producer intended so other theories are better ways of analysing. there’s a word for it but i forgot tbh
