I am fine with media criticism, have no attachment to this series, but wonder why apparently expect a fictional TV show to reflect real-world politics and social roles. I am on the far left politically (and generally support you), but sorry, must take issue with this vid. Let those who revel in far-fetched fantasy revel in it. No story is for everyone; i also imagine calculating the net damage a b.s.-plot drama-com like this does to naive minds is nearly impossible. Scandal is just one more 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' to me [a popular show I refuse to watch because it's so silly/preposterous].
