On 31 January, Ciarb London Branch held, in conjunction with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), their annual mediation seminar, ‘Mediation in a post-Churchill World: 2024 and beyond’.
The landmark 2023 Court of Appeal decision in the Churchill case backing court-directed mediation has opened a new landscape for mediation in England and Wales. During the event, there was a lively discussion about the potential impact the judgment will have, both practically and culturally.
