Thanks for the advice. I've had that several times they have not diagnosed me. One recently smiled and said yeah you still have Stage 3 kidney disease...I'm like WTF. So I can need to set appointments for specialist. Before that when they found I had a heart arrhythmia (PVC) that also causes blackouts, the doc just said yeah the heart beat can cause lack of blood to the brain causing blackouts. They only put me on a walking profile in 2016. My condition got worse recently and they new docs and civilian cardiologists were like WTF about my blackouts. I already got 80% from VA in 2016 and am now back on active duty. Pretty sure they will med board me. Two herniated disks Heart issues Blackouts Shoulder arthritis from rotator cuff i jury/surgery TBI PTSD Plantar fasciitis Hearing loss/ tendonitis Fractured hand with scar I got my 20yr reservist letter a few weeks ago, but would need 5yrs to get an active retirement. Its not worth it, so I'm going to med board or go back as a reserve status.

Thanks! I noticed the PA’s don’t know wtf they are doing. I have found that i have a loss of cartilage in my hip n it HURTS! Stretching a lil helps just like stretching a sore muscle but then it hurts AGAIN 10mins later. My PAs have been sayin their only concern is that i pass my pt n i need to keep running. But I’ve been to a physical therapist a foot doctor and orthopedic doc and they all said whyyy would they tell me to keep running on my hip with that much cartilage gone at 26. It’s crazy so i am sticking to my guns and I’m gonna keep fighting it.

I was evaluated and given a rating by the VA prior to finding out I had to be boarded out. It sped up the MEB process. A civilian liaison told me it was smart not to keep trying to tough it out to 20 years and THEN bring this up for my own health and because it might be denied because they will see that as “you were fine to stay in for another 6 years so why now.”

Ricardo Ruiz yeah apparently they’re cracking down and really examining your medical records so far as dates to try to weed out people milking the system. FYI the branches are able to see what the VA has you rated as unlike in years past. The army has a rule of thumb with anything above 30% and you’re out with few exceptions.

My commander didn't want to give me a good ncoer and was targeting me because I've been on profile for lower back and hip pain and going through the MED board. My mental health because of that has deteriorated because of being targeted and told that I'm a bad leader because of it. My MOS is heavy 88M HET company, and I've been at my unit for 5 years. Just at one point, i didn't want to go into work or wake up cause she made me feel like i haven't done anything for this company. I have a torn labrum in my hip, sciatica, and herniated disc in my lower back. I've been in the military for 10 years. Prior marine that went into the army. So my body is just diminishing at this point, and it sucks. Walking is just so painful and sleeping. I'm pretty nervous about what my NARSUM is going to say or my percentage.

To the haters, this man was seriously and/or permanently injured during service to his country, it doesn't matter where, when, how nor why, several doctors had to agree that his condition justified his status, you can't shit on this soldier for looking out for his health and himself! You expect him just to grin and bear it, be hurt or permanently fucked up and just deal with it. No, you spend the BEST years of your life in your branch of service, give your blood sweat and tears, and if you end up fucked up, you are entitled to a pay check.

What is your official diagnosis? Sounds to me like Atelectasis but I am not 100% sure. You need to take care of yourself 100% I am not a doctor but one of my colleagues while in the Army suffered from a collapse lung and it was not fun. Take care send me a private message with more details if you like. some of the causes of this are here Cancer Surgical trauma, such as unintentional injury after a heart or neck procedure In newborns and infants, birth trauma Neurological diseases, such as ALS, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Guillain-Barre syndrome Spinal cord disorders and quadriplegia Chest Surgery where the phrenic nerve is cut or removed to remove a tumor Chronic pneumonia, bronchitis or cardiac arrhythmias Thyroid and autoimmune disease I will say to you check your thyroid. @@JuanAlvarezPurposeWarrior you need to simply ask for it. if you feel you can not perform your duties and fulfill the physical requirements you need to let your doctor know.
