I am a first-year US medical student and in this video, I go through what it is like to prepare for a block final. I am somebody who is not the best test taker, and I hope that sharing my journey through medical school inspires others to continue down this road. I took four gap years and took the MCAT three times. I applied to medical school three times, and never gave up on my dreams! I am so thankful to be attending my number one medical school.

Hey Tyler I'm so glad that I came across your channel! I would like to thank the algorithm for doing a great job! The struggle is real, especially in medicine. Sometimes I can't help but ask myself "When is it gonna' get easier?!!" as a 4th year medical student But it's such a great feeling to watch you overcome the tough times.You got this!!

@@TYLERLUNG Thank you so much🙏But here medical school starts right after high school and it’s a total of 6 years🥲so I haven’t taken the step exams yet but hopefully I’ll take them when I feel a bit more ready😅

I appreciate that you recognize how god will help you in your journey because not a lot of KZfaqrs are inclined to talk about spirituality. Trust if you were able to make it into medical school you definitely have it in you push through the program. Im going in a similar path and it is important to think back to what the goal is, it helps bring ourselves back to reality after all the studying.
