Medical terminology is one of the first lessons you will learn in EMT school. It's important as an emergency medical services provider to understand the medical language and interpret from physicians and nurses what is going on with your patient at this time.
You will find that some providers may use more medical terminology than others in transfer of care, reports, but every great provider will have the solid medical terminology baseline to be competent.
I breakdown medical terminology for you in this video, so when you walk into class you can confident in this area. I highly recommend taking notes!

Hey Evan, can you do a video about common medication administered by aemts/medics and a breakdown of their uses? Example: adenosine, atropine, amiodarone etc. I think that’d be an interesting video and you’d be good at explaining it!
