Prednisone legit made me crazy. This is awesome! Thank you for spreading the awareness! I wish that they would just make cannabis into a medicine instead of what ever is in drugs like steroids and antibiotics. I also have a very bad reaction to these drugs. I have end stage Hashimoto’s and developed issues with Cronhs over the past year. I’m legit in the process as I write. (Waiting on emergency colonoscopy after positive blood test for Cronhs and issues like getting sick around food. I had c-diff last year and thought for sure that was what was cause it. The symptoms of c-diff only went away for about 3 weeks and then came back tenfold. ) I was put on steroids shortly after I went to the rheumatologist as well as a few other medications. I have a lot of random issues and apparently it’s because of something wrong with the collegian in my body, they said it’s something like MCTD which is kind of like a mix of symptoms between SLE, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and a few other issues. Idk really what to make of that besides I am very sensitive to a lot of things like sunlight, cold weather, stress and a lot of different foods now after I got sick. The only thing that has never made me sick and I could always rely on to make my pain go away, give me an appetite even when food makes me physically ill, is cannabis. I have been on an array of different meds and I even have to take a few because of the amount of problems. Every med I am put on has to be scientifically proven to not cause any side effects that will seriously impact my life. (Like the meds for my thyroid cause my thyroid doesn’t work, unfortunately pot will not act as my thyroid) I do wish I could get prescribed cannabis, it would definitely make all of our lives easier. I definitely believe cannabis reduces inflammation, I’ve gone from being in the bathroom all day and also vomiting around food, to being able to actually eat it after I smoke or eat an edible(which can be hard because of the getting sick around food thing).

I’m in the same boat this kid was in. Living in a prohibition state taking dangerous prescription drugs with awful side effects and I know from my past and using Cannabis that it helps now I’m disabled cannot support myself and have to live with family that will not let illegal substances into their house and it sucks ive suffered for 10 years now and am hoping my state will pass the medical marijuana bill soon

Good story. Only thing is what about diet ? Contaminated water triggered the inflammation, it could technically happen again ? Crohn's is technically an "incurable" disease as per doctors, so when symptoms come back, you just eat brownies for the next 7 months ? I have Crohn's disease and I have a medical cannabis card but I could only achieve remission for 3 weeks, then my symptoms came back. Hope to hear feedback.

Interesting story but the study she referred to was inconclusive. The author in Israel said she’s seen remission of symptoms but not of the inflammation upon colonoscopy.

I'm currently on remicade. I think it works but it's very toxic. I want off this remicade. I know personally Marijuana helps me. I struggle with the dose. I do not like the high feeling of Marijuana. Illegally alive than legal dead. I’m dealing with a lot of crohn’s pain… can’t use pot because I’ll lose my job. I lose my job I lose my health insurance. The PHARMACY industry would rather see people die than lose out on a few bucks.
