@hispanicpanic1082 nope, chinese were also the first ones to make cannon, but somehow they became even more popular in Europe.

@@hispanicpanic1082 gun powder did come from china they developed a gun type thing defending from the mongols in the 11th or 12th century then by the 14th century it had made its way to Europe and Europeans perfected guns and the rifle. But you could be right about the ottomans though.

Gunpowder wasn’t even invented by the Chinese until the 9th century & it wasn’t until the 1200s that it started making its way into Europe.
