It's not controversial to start an episode in the middle of the night. It just demonstrates your work ethic. I've always loved working the graveyard shift.

Adding insulation also raises the mood of all the villagers so if you insulate work areas insulate the work areas that you have people actually working in

Your villagers increase your technology tree which is why the tech tree gets so high. You could have left the farmer helping you.

I also feel like limestone is a very hard resource to gather by yourself. They should upgrade the drop rate. That’s why it’s important to have workers in the excavation hut asap. But with the way you set it up in your last video, you’ll be good in no time. You should also setup the woodshed to produce a little bit of firewood. You don’t even need to put it high, and you’ll be swimming in firewood pretty fast. All activities related to agriculture will give you XP, even picking up manure and eggs from the animal buildings. As always .. amazing video mate !!

The whole cliff wall either side of the falls at new village has limestone mixed in. I believe anywhere that there is stone that you use a pick can get limestone. Not ore and salt nodes but the other boulder and cliffs around the map.

Another great vid! Also for hoeing, you can hold your mouse button and move forward instead of hitting it for each block hehe. Also i think your Villagers give you the same amount of tech points but you need to do the field work yourself to get experience for the farming skill. I do some testing and get back to you 😁

Hope you remembers to put the farmer back to work....If I'm not too late this spring will be a hectic season you can put other villagers in the farm hut any for they would not mind and you can go and mine at all the mines you know for the season....You have free iron down south that you can mine and make iron tools already even before you unlock your own mine. NOTE. I think that the red spot in your management window on your old house and the other buildings in old town are just that they are asking for repair if you want to repair pick the option on the wheel of your hammer and you would see what you need, should be just sticks and straw. My recommendation is for the RS level 1 and FS level 1 in old own you could just upgrade those to level 2. Again you should keep the Storage's that you have built even if you don't upgrade them. Whatever you decide, cya on the next one.

As I can remember, when your villagers do their jobs you should gain technology points for that. And I know it is far to reach now, but you definitely need to save some space for the tavern)

Plenty of rock right there in the new village, that entire cliff face is mineable. I also gave up and just let the villagers mine it.

Would be cool if your centre of the Village has not a grid. Since you take a short cut from the bridge straight to the foot of the hill and around it would be nice to make it a main road maybe

You don't have to go far for your limestone. Any large rock sections/walls - just like the ones outside of the mine in your village - will give you limestone. There is no secret section of rock that will give you any extra. :) I got most of my limestone from the Excavation Shed worker once I started upgrading to rock houses - but, just like the ore in the mines - the rock/limestone will renew with each season so, if you're really wanting it, you can just manually move along the rock wall and extract as much as you can before it rolls over.

Hey Kysen! I think making animal feed is the best activity by far to gain points. I made a lot of it and gained like 2 tech steps! And I was doing all the work on my huge fields before and took a lot to get one tech point even! Just learned about the villagers earning you points as well so that’s awesome! Have fun in Hong Kong.

I think you can earn more from the pigs by slaughtering them, rather than selling them directly. For example meat, leather and they give tons of them. You can make other things from them and sell them. ❤ Have fun 💛

Apparently somebody has given you some seriously bad info just to let you know anything that your villagers do work wise meaning if they’re working in the fields if they are crafting stuff if they’re hunting fishing anything at all, you still receive technology points for that you don’t have to do it yourself to get the technology points you can let your villagers do it for you

Would adding window shutters on the houses help with them using less firewood? Or is that just a cosmetic thing? Feels like having the windows open like that would let all the heat out.

I never mine the limestone or clay myself. not worth it. I always build 2 excavation sheds as soon as I unlock the building. Produce limestone and copper at the start. Once I have insulated most buildings and unlocked the mine building, then I switch to mostly clay production for bottles.

I will be interesting to know if the Donkey can visit each town in one day on a selling spree. I can with a donkey or horse on the valley map. No clue about the new one though. Thanks for the tip about the attic- did not know that Note: any villager can be trained to do what you need/want but you can also try to find better starting stats by visiting other campfires that the possible recruits go to. Unless there is only one campfire like that in oxbow??
