You should check out Panicore. It’s a multiplayer game that does the whisper mechanic well. It handles it so much better than don’t shout. I think you guys would really enjoy it. Edit: Typo

I think Panicore does it better but it still has similar flaws though. You guys would like it.

@@nirbindubanerjee2762 As long as they would be fine with talking not insta killing them it's fun - the AI is still getting some tweaks here and there, but otherwise we have received really positive feedback for our implementation of this concept :) Panicore turned out to be more the fun goofy type of game instead of being spooky tho, especially in groups, that should be mentioned!

Dev in the comments hype! Awesome work on everything so far, what an addictive gameplay loop for something early access. I think cleaning up more bugs is a good idea before you implement saves - even though a save system is sorely missed, once it’s less buggy, it’ll be more enjoyable for one-off runs while you get saves implemented. Keep at it, you should be proud of this gem you’ve made ❤

Add a rejoin so even without save ppl can just come back if something goes wrong 😊, mid game join can be annoying with randoes they can just get in ruin the match and leave but rejoin is necessary

I think an optional ending, as in something you have to achieve by completing a certain task could be nice. Lethal Company for example could have an ending in which you break free from the company, but it would be hard to get and a secret.

@@DagoDuck yep. there was this long road in all YOkai watch games, that can be virtually infinite but events and enemies get harder and trickier... maybe dev should try something like that, like " see how far can you go, eventually you can find a safe haven and end game there, or keep going with more dificult or new enemies as it progress" something like that would be an option, after all, the game is called " Pilgrim".

I wasn't mean. The game was bad. I'm sorry but I'm not going to lie on stream and pretend a game is good. If you want to watch a fake content creator pretending to like stuff you're not watching the right person.

I always said saving and rejoining should be implemented. I even explicitly stated he should focus on things that would allow people to bypass the bugs rather than him trying to manually fix every big instantly because that's simply impossible. A save system is the PERFECT bypass for all bugs because you can just reset the lobby if anything breaks. So you are completely misunderstanding what I previously said. I've also given the dev lots of free publicity while advocating for everyone to play the game, calling it amazing etc. How is that in anyway unfair.

There's something called constructive criticism. Some people are better at wording things "kindly" or "professionally", while others are a bit more blunt about things, and others can be perceived as rude and just give negative feedback that isn't useful at all. It isn't a player's job to write up a technical essay detailing their issues and concerns about a game. Best thing you can do is take in feedback and criticisms, both negative and positive - remove tone from the picture entirely and look only at the parts related to the game - and build your own priority list based on what you as the dev think is optional or necessary. Feel free to discard anything you disagree with in your vision for your game, but be aware such decisions can turn players away from your game too, especially if many share the same views. Always keep in mind, the community/players are the ones that buy and feed into a game, so it's usually in your best interest unless you're a AAA company to heed what players think of the state of your game. While at times Insym can sound a bit demanding and be *perceived* as rude, I think he's just blunt about how he feels. He still gives insight as a player that devs can find useful though, and he also seems to have high hopes for this particular game as it does seem to have a lot of potential! It's just got some kinks to work out, and I agree a save system wouldn't be a bad idea, or at least a "checkpoint" system between sections. Not many people like restarting from scratch when they clip into a wall, late in a game. Feel free to follow what you think is best though, nobody can stop you, I just think your "lesson" shouldn't be learned from this one negative instance of how you perceive a dev/creator interaction to be.

jerem3135 like insym said, I think you misunderstood what he was saying in the video, saving or rejoining would be a great improvement for the game, and constructive criticism saying that the game would improve from adding a saving mechanic is very true, but for the most part insym has been giving the game great complements and praise for the game that it is, I think you, jerem3135, should pay more attention for what insym was saying.
