We're at the half way mark of the Fellowship, so of course it was time to tackle some Hobbitses for Middle Earth Monday! Dying to see how these guys look with their bases and all done, but we need to wait until the Fellowship is complete before I can paint up Balin's Tomb and display the whole group as they were always meant to look. This models are simple and very old, which makes them easy to get painted quickly! I found the account BRANDED very helpful for seeing some high definition photos of beautifully painted LOTR models which shows off details that help define the models! FAQ:Adding a light spray of Grey Seer over a full coat of black primer adds a small amount of texture to the primer which gives the contrast paint more to grip on to. It also adds light and shadows which helps define the model more.
