"Reaching your goal" In Zen, finding the root of the mind is more important than finding the essence of the state of your mind. It's the untraceable, elusive mind that is key to peace. The mind is the foundation of all things, and it can only be found if it is searched for and searched for. The heart, the brain, the heart and the will are the four foundations of the body, or thought, the Zen teacher says.
