As a young man I always assumed that society would mature and grow up just as I was maturing and growing up. You can't imagine my disappointment upon realizing that at 66 I can handle a glimpse of a nipple or pubic hair but society as a whole is still stuck at puberty. WTH is wrong with these people? I appreciate your devotion to monocolor, by the way. Photography has been my passion for more than 30 years and for the past 25 I've worked almost exclusively in black and white. I fell in love with the way monochrome abstracts the world and never really got over it. Love your work !

Monochrome does have a way of abstracting the world doesn’t it… I’ve never thought of it like that before 🙏🏼 I know though, the human body, the most natural part of life itself and we’re not allowed to display it.. very strange

Excellent piece of art. Sometimes artwork that are bit on bolder side can get hard side of social media like Instagram but to overcome that you can cover the parts which can be taken objections on with something like a flower or some sort of cute animal like deer or dog blocking view of it. I like to draw faces I think face expression can be quite artistic and say a lot about character/subject in portrait. I do love the anatomy details in your artwork though. I was wondering if your mentor's artwork from 2/3 videos ago is completed or not really curious about the end result for that one. You're doing an amazing work. Keep it up :D Sky's the limit :D

Carly. It’s ridiculous what an AI bot on Instagram can decide what is ok to show or not when, at the same time, people can put up fake art and photographs and make outrageous comments that are slanderous, libelous and have no basis in fact, or are racist, antisemitic or misogynistic without any repercussions. But your beautiful art rises above all the BS in the world. Thank you for sharing and thank you for making the world more beautiful and for everything you do.

Any suggestions for an artist that kinda struggles with anatomy on how to get better...i just get discouraged

I know how you feel! Start with small studies? And crop in to the form and just focus on one area first, almost like a puzzle, and eventually you can put it all together. The body as a whole can be very difficult to tackle at once

@@carlyrenee.art Small studies? Like focus on hands then chest, arms. Etcetera ? And once i do that i can put it all together. Or do you mean while i am drawing focus on one part then the other?

@@mobill93 yes exactly! But just do small separate artworks of each part of the body, really study each area and then you can attempt a full body, you’ll learn a lot this way 😊 you could also try the gird method to make sure your proportions are correct

Ich mag deine art die weiblichkeit darzustellen sie zart zu umhüllen ohne zu viel preiszugeben aber mittlerweile ist es hier (Deutschland,das Land der verbote. und Einmischung) schon nicht mehr erlaubt eine weibliche brust darzustellen und wird zensiert.mach aber weiter so nur übung macht den meister .danke für dein talent!!
