Only, just singing Rafi songs in the style of Mohd Rafi sahab is one thing. Mohd Rafi was a genius in bringing a song to live using expression and perfect voice control, with this and with his unique voice he touched our hearts. So simply a good imitation of Rafi sahab is not the reason to see someone as the next Rafi. It is more important to learn from him and try to put that in your own singing style and create new songs. There are only a few singers who was given this kind of chance and succeeded in their own ways (which always was a combination of Mohd Rafi style and their own unique input). His voice is good but he has thinner vocal tone vs Rafi Sb.. he needs to do more riyaaz and try to sing with little thicker tone to give a little feel of Rafi Sb.. In fact it's impossible to bring Rafi Sb vocal feel by any singer.. Rafi Sb had 100s of different texture in his voice to take his voice anywhere he wanted.. Slow to high.. whisper to loud.. mould to any situation and any character..But his young man done good job and bring his best of ability..
