It may be unprofessional, but I Love this guy. He's frustrated and trying to talk to the umpire in English, which is not his native language. He ^thinks* he's asking the ump a question, "Can his father talk every point?" But he mixes up his words and what he's really saying sounds like a tantrum, "His father can talk every point! His father can talk every point!" Eventually, he gets his words in the right order and finally says "Look at me! I am talking to you! Can his father talk every point?" Poor guy. Speaking and thinking in English when angry is hard for any non-native English speaker, I would imagine. Even for some of us Americans, TBH. :) Gotta love his perseverance though.

Sure, but you need to use '"tact". A lot of people who speak up like this would just be fired from their jobs, even if you are right unfortunately. There is a smarter way to go about it. I say this as someone who has spoken up many times. What happened when I spoke up? I was the one made to suffer, and everyone else got away free. Woman at work was carrying too much weight. I spoke up. Get called sexist. She then broke her back. Bad safety practices. I spoke up. Get fired. One man then broke his legs. Another man broke his fingers. So yes, speak up. Do it smart though. Yes you are right. I was more-so speaking about Medvedev's willingness to bring up the issue and persist - not really the way he spoke. Medvedev risked it because in this instance he did not think that this would cost him his job and because there was a recording taking place. If it was in any other instance he may have been more quieter and calmer - but either way he'd speak up and make an effort to explain his case and call out unfairness, and in that is something to admire and emulate.

Medvedev had to ask the crowd to show respect to Jim Courier and accused some of them of having a low IQ. 😂 Medvedev was angry at the umpire because he was allowing Tsitsipas’s father to coach him throughout the match. Is it ok for the Aussie crowd to upset players and put them off their game?

If you are surprised at how Medvedev's seemingly insane behaviour didn't get him a code, that was because he didn't deserve one. Tonight, the umpire thoroughly failed his job, small cat or not. The umpire allowed a grand slam semifinal to be a circus and did nothing when the crowd shout out rude comments at Medvedev right before Medvedev went into the service motion. Even the commentators couldn't believe the umpire's lack of action. There was so much hostile distraction everywhere against Medvedev, and the umpire let it be - Medvedev's outburst was ugly but not unnecessary. He shouldn't need to play his best tennis in a circus show.

Shouting and demanding that the umpire should answer his question, despite not providing him with sufficient time to answer, is a clear example of unsportsmanlike behaviour. @@GonzalezAlfie It seems to me you are afraid of the final when Medvedev will crush Nadal like a bug... you sound very much like Nadal himself who has a tendency to whine and complain about other players being disrespectful

@@SEGAraid Who cares about how he spoke? It’s so irritating seeing comments like yours when he’s absolutely right in what he was saying. His opponent is a notorious cheater and he deserved to be annoyed.
