@gert-frobe425 I think you can do a shunt mod that tricks the controller to put out more power.

@gert-frobe425 to be honest, I've never done it before. I know that it requires opening up the controller and soldering some capacitors together to trick the controller into thinking it is providing less power than it actually is, in order to allow it to put out extra power. Might be risky, I don't think I'm going to do it personally.

i hope you do a review on Allpowers SP012 Solar Panel 100W. as someone who loves E-bikes....having this in your backpack to recharge your bike may be game breaking, not sure anyone has thought of it yet.

You'd have to have a way to regulate/increase the voltage from 12v or 24v up to 56v to charge the battery directly, or up to 120v to use the wall charger. A small battery generator allows for this, but it's much easier to just carry a second battery in a backpack.

It’s a cool looking bike but as a big guy pushing my weight I don’t think this little guy would work here in the hills of PA but that’s said in really hoping the freedom cruiser will do the job .

I'm 6'3" and 225 and the Wired Freedom is a big and powerful bike...you're going to love it!

Does it have thru axles? For safety they should be required on all ebikes. Friend ate gravel due to defective quick release design.

It does. A nut on each side, no quick release.

Do you like this bike over the wired freedom or this one?

The Wired Freedom is much faster and bigger, but also costs almost twice as much. They are both great depending on your needs and budget.

have you tried changing the tires for motorcycle tires to prevent flats or are the tires good enough?

I haven't swapped them out yet, but was considering that option. Overall, they have been fairly flat resistant, and I like the tires with the knobby tread when I'm in dirt for traction.

As far as I know, they don't ship outside of the US....but the best way to check is to go to their website.

Also my battery indictaor on screen drops quickly after I ride it for a mile or two does yours stay full ?

It drops after about 5 to 10 miles. Are you fully charging it until the light turns off? Is it the DK 300 plus?

Lights turn off ? I charge until charger turns green instead of red

About 80lbs without the battery and close to 100lbs with the battery.

Question when u hit the battery indicator will the last light always be red ?

It will only go about 28mph. You'll have to get a 52v or 60v system to go any faster....or try a shunt mod....which I don't reccomend.

Honestly, 28mph is pretty fast for a bike.
