Yep being too tall & having too large feet/hands means you don't fit in the standards clothes or shoes. Most models don't start off doing couture or tailored wear, the percentage that can are tiny, so as you say most models have to fit within a certian range. I am a 6ft 2" woman & struggle to find clothes & shoes etc that fit. If the clothes/shoes do fit it's usually expensive. I am happy that ASOS does some clothes for tall people in an acceptable price range & they are actually long not "long" in theory. I have very long legs & long arms, my nickname was lanky. So t-shirts/short sleeved shirts (mostly men's) are the only off the rack clothes I can easily buy.

@@NotAnotherKuromi í am hearing you. I have a very large bone structure with size 11 feet Australian and those sizes always disappear fast. Growing up ín 80's the sizes only went to a 10 , so my shoe collection was non existent sadly, unless I could squash my feet into smaller sizes. I have very large hands also , which was awesome when holding a football in one hand lol and for being an elite youth swimmer. Personally I'd hate to be taller than my 6ft as one stands out enough as it is, and I was the tallest girl playing basketball in my small hometown. Once my legs grew too long í lost the ability to sprint fast. Crazy í know but in primary school I was the fastest, but once í hit high school my entire body mechanics changed. Being athletically gifted and tall is such an incredible advantage when you love sport though, which í did. I played everything and won all the shotput, discuss and high jump events in the district right up until I finished high school, so that was fun. Plus the swimming. It's great to be able to clean the fans without getting on a ladder too haha. So great things can come in big and small packages but í'm greatful mostly for my height and build, as there are far more positives than negatives.

Yeah I never get why they're talking about modelling, you can't be a model if you're too short for sure but neither if you're too tall. They can't wear pants but would work in the fashion industry ? Doesn't make sense ; taking professional photos for yourself isn't modelling.

As a child a parent at school who was a nurse suggest to my mother that they take me to a Dr & get me put on medication to stunt my growth! I know some get surgery to fuse the growth plates too but they wait until they reach a certian height, or track to see if they are growing too fast, compared to average. So I've only heard of surgery to slow or prevent growth after certian point. Not wait until they reach full height, then chop out some leg bone. It would also likely be an expensive procedure which is dangerous & not very benificial, so I doubt many drs would recommend it. People with dwarfism often get leg surgery which also reduces instability, pain & helps them walk better, rather than just adding height. That's the majority of leg lengthening surgeries, to correct walking issues, rather than purely cosmetic, which you likely hear about more on channels like this.

Obviously no-one can control their height but as long as you aren't hateful, everyone can have preferences. I am tall myself but prefer short women & think big ears are cute, it doesn't mean I dislike those not fitting those characteristics but it's what I'm naturally attracted to. I see no problem with your comment & appreciate you mentioning the negatives that come with it.
