Meet A Pakistani ‘Angrez’ Butt Who Is Obsessed With Trains - Spends All His Time At Railway Station

Farrukh Shehbaz Warraich interviewed a very unique and interesting personality who calls himself ‘Angrez Butt’. Butt has blonde hair and speaks with an unusual English accent. He is obsessed with trains and spends the majority of his time at Railway Station Lahore. Butt says that trains also have souls, they are faithful because they take you to places and are safer than airplanes. The reason Butt loves trains is that his father and uncles, all worked at railway stations at different posts. Angrez Butt claims he is a relative of Kulsoom Nawaz; the late wife of Nawaz Shareef and also narrated the incident when he met Sohail Warraich, the journalist. very happy to see your love for trains , I am also a big train laover , I travelled most of the sections between Karacchi & Peshawar by Pakistan Railways & enjoyed it , I travelled in meter gauge trains in south Sindh in my childhood & still I remember that marvelous era of Pakistan Railways . Sir , I wish to meet you & In ShaAllah in near future probably.

I love historical small cities railway stations of Pakistan not the big cities.Just feel the feelings after train departs from a small town train station in Pakistan.you will feel the emptiness of this life.you will feel the real loneliness and a connection to the past.I can’t explain more just do it yourself and see how do you feel.

I guess He is obsessed with the sound trains make,and the old engines bcz he said he likes historical places...Lahore's railway station was made back in British Era...so its architecture, the whole station and the engines give old vibes...so it is attractive and nostalgiac at the same time. Plus He said he writes and love nature too,Seems he has artistic attributes in his personality. These are the all things acc to me that has made him fall in love with the trains.

Lahore railway station was built by the British, just like a real and operational fort. When under attack, there were huge gates at the end of the platforms, that can be closed to make the station secure. Also, on the towers, there were (and still visisble), arrow slits, throughout the building. These were used to fire back on the attackers.
