Well there are a lot of Japanese immigrants who went to Brazil(one ww2 Japanese vet in my country went to Brazil), some of them pretty much taught them Jiu Jitsu and Kenjutsu etc. Sam is also half Japanese.

Quick fact it's how Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was invented was Japanese Jiu Jitsu masters teaching it in Brazil and then was adapted to BJJ

He told me that brazil was full of corruption, I wonder if you thought in common too like him, but that's great you plan to move to live in Japan and never go back to brazil, again, but planning to visit Canada or US as he is I believe right/neh?

I was in Brazil this year. Grew up in the UK from a Brazilian mother/English father. Very surprised how the country is so diverse. Felt more in Germany in places such as Blumenau than in Frankfurt. Outstanding country!
