I was expecting mama to be a protective feral, but seeing her so loving is bittersweet. On one hand, it's good that she's so amazingly socialized - on the other, it's sad to know she was likely abandoned, not only after being completely uncared for in terms of fixing, but also after clearly thinking the world of humans despite being abandoned so young. And of course, the babies are just so beyond precious.

A couple weeks before Christmas I took in a mama and her babies to foster and she is JUST like this mama, she's absolutely the sweetest! She was skin and bones and has SEVEN whole babies so I had my first experience bottle feeding to supplement her 3 tiniest babies (at 2 weeks old her smallest was only 118 grams while the biggest was 304)... This channel gets so much credit for their survival because I quite literally had to learn as I go but these babies are all THRIVING thanks to Kitten Lady's many tutorials on "orphan" kitten care! And Mama is so sweet, follows me around just like All Star! She has 4 all orange babies and 3 flame points and she is a mix of orange and white with gorgeous silky long hair

The two tabby boys look like two kittens I got in 2008- about this age. Bottle babies dropped of at the doorstep of the vet office where I worked without momma. The one with the rounder head/ cooler toned was rocksteady, the one with the narrower face warmer tones was bebop. Bebop is almost 15 and you wouldn’t know it!!

If you can get the mother, too, it's always the best way to raise kittens. She'll do all the work. This friendly female and kittens are the exact opposite of another video I saw of a very unfriendly mamma cat that was trapped with her kittens and kept inside until they little ones were weaned off her. She was spayed and returned to where she was found, wasting no time darting out of the carrier and back into her wild street life but without the burden of raising more litters. The little kittens were all socialized and adopted out.

I melted when mum cat is treadling air while kittens are feeding. She is beautiful, and looks exactly like a cat we had when i was a kid. She walked in and said "i live here now". The kittens are also perfect replicas. We called them vegemite, butter and casper( the black one). So glad she will get a good home now. * it was always hard to tell vegemite and butter one from the other.

What a precious precious little family ❤ They've found their guardian angel! We took in a little fluffy black and white lady many years ago, and found she was pregnant, once her 3 babies were old enough we had the whole family neutered and kept them all. Sadly mama and one of her babies has now passed at the ages of 19 and 17, but two are still going strong with our other two adopted kitties.

Mama all star is like an adult female version of our youngest kitty, Elvis! She's got that beautiful gray fur that looks like it's glowing silver when light hits it. Though she's darker and my cat has hidden tabby stripes we only see when light hits. Except his tail, those stripes are obvious.
