Wow CONGRATULATIONS, as someone who has struggled with addiction (near enough to 8 years clean) I can agree with you that even one day clean is an achievement. Congrats girl!! I've been clean from heroin since 5/6/14 so over 5 years now. It's a constant struggle every day but gets easier and easier as time goes on. We are the lucky ones for sure with the constant overdose deaths that are happening now! Keep going strong girl, you are such a strong woman!

I love this side of Laura. I love Eryn and the fact that the whole family is willing to share their story. I’m so happy you addressed this. Very few families don’t deal with alcohol or drugs. I lost my son to the drug life. It’s such a learning experience, becoming educated to drug addiction. I have so much respect for both of you. Keep up the good work!

I wanna offer some loving words but I never wanna speak on someone’s situation unless they are comfortable with it, so I’ll just say that I understand both sides (your perspective, and probably your sons too) and I can bet he’s watchin over ya. My Dad is clean for like 6 years now and he went back to the place where he got help and they told him that he is the only one who got clean. And I am so proud of him so I now that you can do this with a supportive family!

I haven’t seen eryns dad but when I saw her mom I was like oh wow she looks just like her mom. I thought she would take after her dad sense she doesn’t look like you, but man she looks like her mom.

Sheila Campos I agree! That’s what I did to my sister and she passed from her addiction . Now I live with the nasty words that were said three months before she passed . The last time I spoke to her .

I am so happy for your family. My husband and myself have had full custody of my brother's children for almost 6 years now. He is currently in his 4th stint at rehab. I am so hoping it sticks this time. Praying for continued success for your sister.❤

I'm an addict in recovery and the fact that you even included this subject in your videos makes me so happy. I also been clean for around the same time your sister is. Addiction is the hardest thing I've dealt with in my whole entire life but it's possible to overcome it and move forward with your life. I literally liked this as soon as it started. I come from parents of substance abuse and this hits home for me so much. I’m crying already and I’m less than a minute it 😭

I’m from about an hour outside of the City, but my mother’s accent is so thick that I have it😂 dissipates a little while I’m away (stuck in Alaska, thanks Army). But when I’m on the phone with her. Or around my family... it’s back in full swing hahaha my husbands always like ‘wtf are you saying’

I have been clean for 13 months (this time) I am lucky to have a loving family that have helped & supported me along my recovery. If it weren’t for my father, I would probably not have my daughter in my life now. I feel you on leaving old friends behind, in recovery you almost have to be selfish in a way. To stay alive. Not only has my Dad been MY support system but my daughter’s as well & for that I am most grateful. I have custody of my daughter now, which is something I wasn’t sure would ever happen again. Sorry for rambling, I’m so happy you’re doing well & that you have Laura & a relationship with Erin!!!! 🤍

Seems like she’s in such a good headspace! I’m so so happy and proud of her. I have seen drug and alcohol abuse though my close family and it really is true they have to decide themselves to stop. You cannot make anyone stop. It seems like she’s really truly being strong and doing it for herself

I just celebrated 2 years of continuous sobriety! girl, I was in and out of 11 rehabs.. almost 11 years of using and abusing any drug I could find... you can do this sister! trust me, I thought an addict like myself would never get out of the grips of my active addiction! I wanted to die using... I am so obsessed with my sober life today, its unfathomable! 💓🙏🏼 I know personally how rough the road of addiction is & I love seeing success stories. I have faith in you. you're worth way more than being a junkie for the rest of your life. you're a miracle. you're courageous. you're beautiful. and most importantly, you're ALIVE today!🤗 PROUD OF YOU GIRL!

To her sister: Congrats! I have almost 3.5 years clean from heroin. I had 5 years clean but unfortunately got complacent and thought I could use “just once” which turned into a year and a half and I lost everything. I finally got clean again and now have almost 3 1/2 years. If I have any advice it’s DON’T get too comfortable. Pay attention to what your triggers are and avoid them at all costs. One of mine is boredom and that’s what brought me down when I relapsed. Also, you’re an addict. You can’t do it just “one more time”. 8 months is definitely something to be proud of!! Keep doing what you’re doing and stay strong girl!! You got this!! Laura: You’re right, not all of us have family support and it makes it so much harder. Your sister is so blessed to have you. Don’t ever give up on her! Please always be there to encourage her and push her in a positive direction. I commend you and your family for opening up and being so raw and real with us. I think it’s so important to talk about addiction openly and let people see how it doesn’t discriminate and how it really is. It’s also so refreshing to see success stories like your sister’s, to give people still struggling some hope! You are beautiful inside and out! 💖

So many people, not just You Tubers, are so reluctant to embrace their beginnings, but it's great to see you're the opposite! Ashley you're amazing, and I applaud you many times over for all your realness, efforts, sacrifices, and growth! It's amazing also to see a woman be so comfortable in her own light and be optimistic toward a new and bright day! I can't speak for everyone, but I can definitely relate to your struggles eventhough I've not lived your story specifically, but I wish you nothing but the absolute best!
