I have logistical questions. How much does it cost to do this? Are you paid to rescue and heal the tortoises? How do you pay for all of this? What will you do with all the babies? You obviously know what you are doing and are a very good care taker. I am genuinely curious about the financial and time cost of keeping so many.

I'm so sorry for the late response!! So I just love tortoises and I've always been around them. Most of my tortoises are rescues and here in AZ it's the perfect weather for Sulcata Tortoises so they have the whole yard to explore (and space is very important for sulcatas). Unfortunately I'm not able to keep every single baby with the amount of babies they have, so after I make sure they are 100% healthy and ready, I'll let some go to new and good homes. I also like to send them in pairs so they aren't alone.

Absolutely beautiful video. Wanted to ask from where are you? And how have you managed to build that Underground houses please share. I live in Arizona ☀️ These guys built all the burrows themselves! But during the rainy season I temporarily cover up the burrows and then the tortoises will stay inside of their heated tortoise shed. And yeah they poop a ton! hahaha lots of work but I love it 🐢

What an awesome video! I love watching you interact with your tortoises. Have you thought about doing a live Q&A? How long does it take you to check on all of them, clean, feed them, let the babies soak, and all the extra stuff you do? How many tortoises do you have, including the rescues? Will the rescues be able to come out with the other tortoises? Are tortoises territorial? I look forward to your next video!

Were they sick, injured, neglected or what? (Did someone grow tired of all the care they need, and give them up for adoption? And, also why do you keep them separated?
