Our New addition to the farm, She has been here one week today and already she follows me like a puppy. Will eat out of my hand, and yesterday was the first time she let me pet on her while feeding her Apple treats.
She has everything she needs here, but i have to get some things to help deal with the flies. as dry as it is right now all cattle are dealing with this problem. No matter what She is an awesome addition, and is getting along great!

When I was 14 my parents took to the Tx Mercedes’ live stock show. They bought me a half angus half holstein 3 month old heifer I named Alice. I loved her like air.

She is called a mid jersey, Part mini- part full. Ive been around cattle my whole life and never have I had a yearling get attached to a person in such a short period. Thanks for watching. I plan on making more videos each week with the farm, animals, fishing, and harvesting.

With all animals two things are important. How you present yourself to any animal will determine how they react to you, 2nd thing is if you raise them from a young age, handle and care for them regularly, then you can make most any animal a pet. I have rabbits, chickens, game chickens, cattle, ducks, a turkey, geese, dogs, and cats. All of which we can either handle or pet with no problems! It gives you a reason to smile when you get home!

@@TheForemanOutdoors556 that’s awesome. I think it is the size of the cow and how hard they can kick that just earn a healthy respect from me. I’m sure they are like big dogs, they are still impressive animals.

@@floridaman5125 you never stand behind or diagonal to the hind quarters of any bovine. Once you know the basics you'll be fine. Thank you for watching! 🙂
If you're still here when I get off work, I'll take you home!
