Vijay Trisal, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a surgical oncologist and Medical Director of Community Practices at City of Hope. As a member of the NCCN committee, Dr. Trisal helps formulates guidelines for the treatment of melanoma both nationally and internationally. His specific interest lies in the study of novel genes that may help in early detection and treatment of melanoma and the use of isolated limb infusion delivering high dose chemotherapy to treat locally recurrent disease.
