Just two miles from where the Trump administration is drafting anti-refugee policies, a little Washington, DC, falafel shop is trying to do the opposite. AJ+'s Dena Takruri visits Falafel Inc., which donates a portion of its profits to feed refugees through the World Food Programme, and also hires and trains refugees to eventually open their own franchises.

I'm glad to see DC has a good falafel shop. The last two times I had falafel in DC it was dry and overcooked. Oh, and the refugee angle is nice, too.

This isn't the only good sumaritan restraunt. There was one I visited that took in people who were at risk or went through the criminal justice system and gave them the training and tools for getting a job and reintegrating them into society.

Sandeep Goraya Well if u r gonna kill an animal, might as well do it the right way. I get what u r saying but if someone has made up their mind to take an animals life and eat it, to me it doesn't really matter how u kill (of course this doesn't mean u torture it)
