I really like all the DC animated films Lauren Montgomery directed, Green Lantern: First Flight and Emerald Knight, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths and Doom, and Wonder Woman, which I think is better than the live action movie.

the class of artists that came out of avatar is truly incredible names like Lauren Montgomery (created the Voltron Reboot with Joaquim), Dave Filoni (Whose now at lucasfilm but worked on Season One), Joaquim Dos Santos (who directed across the spiderverse), Aaron Ehasz (with the dragon Prince) amongst many others is crazy to think about how much they talent came out of the show behind the scenes congrats to them.

Lauren has a peculiar voice. Maybe it's her mic but she sounds a bit like one of those voice actresses who voiced a dozen of children on a regular basis. Also, the sketches of Aang remind me of the episode in which Toph started Aang's earthbending training. She took Aang's glider staff and held up a bag with a crude but unmistakable drawing of Aang's face.

Kind of a click bait-y title. The episode is an interview with Lauren Montgomery who is directing the new movie, but they’re still not allowed to talk about it, so it is a regular interview about her work on ATLA and Korra.

Even just in the comments here you have people going “Finally! We’ve been waiting so long!” Just not very cool of the official KZfaq to try to draw people in because of the movie when there isn’t actually anything about the movie in this episode.

Umm guys I think she subtly confirmed it’s going to be Cyberpunk. When they were drawing Aang and Dante said his looked like an alien she jokingly says hold onto it, eventually we’ll have them go into space or something to that effect.
