Tie and Max Domi may be very different hockey players. But, in some ways, they're also very similar.

Big inspiration on how to play the game in the 90s. Him, Probert and Scott Stevens showed me how to defend myself growing up.
@gobitzgames37046 жыл бұрын
They are both a product of their time, really. Back in Tie's days the game was 100% different. You needed guys like him on your team and he was one of the best at what he did. If Max was like his father he would never have made the NHL. Today its about speed and skill and that is what Max learned growing up so I am glad is is not like is father cause if he was he might be flippin patty's somewhere not in the NHL lol.
@gdprice793 жыл бұрын
I like the Domis. I can see how they would irritate hell out of a lot of people but they are likable at the same time. Tough as nails those guys and for relatively little guys they take noting from no one.
If tie played for your team you loved him because he did his job well. That was the job he got payed for. Love the man..

Max has earned his father's heavyweight mantle after destroying Kesler with one punch. And he might average 30 goals a season in his career, too.
@SaintNektarios7 жыл бұрын
I don't think so. If Max starts beating guys like Ryan Reaves, Milan Lucic, Brandon Bollig, Matt Martin and Brandon Prust, then I will consider him a HW champ. Getting a lucky punch in on Kesler does not make anyone a HW champ.

I've only seen Max since he started with the Stars and Tie from videos. I liked Tie, he did what he was supposed to, and turned into pretty good player. I've been impressed with Max, he's a good player and hasn't had the fights like they used to have, but when the situation warranted, he didn't back down. I think he'll be a good player at the end of his career.
