Shahad Al Wuhaili '26 is majoring in chemical engineering and minoring in bioengineering. She's found the Galvin Scholars program to be incredibly rewarding. Last summer, she conducted research at the University of Colorado Medical Campus alongside fellow Galvin Scholars.

The Mary E. Galvin Science & Engineering Scholars Program at the University of Notre Dame provides talented students the support they need to thrive in chemistry, calculus, and physics courses.
Students perform significantly better in smaller sections, allowing for more interaction with their peers and the instructors. The program also helps students find supportive groups with similar talents and interests.
