In this special short video - I went to a town in Tanzania called, Karatu. This town is where a large portion of this unique tribe of Tanzania stays. The Tribe is called Iraqw. What make this tribe so unique is their African Genetics that make up this special group of people.
Their Genetics/Ancestors are Ethiopian & Somalian Mix. As the story goes they originated from Ethiopia in the Oromo Region & a large group of the people traveled south to Somalia living there for a few hundreds of years then later going to Tanzania & settling there.
There is more to this special story & union between Somalia & Ethiopia & Most of All The people of Iraqw. The Iraqw Tribe understands where their Ancestors come from but Love there Tanzanian home & there own Traditions & Cultures they made for themselves.
