EQD are easily my favorites. They are thoughtfully designed too. You can make a legit board with just their produx alone. It would be hilarious if they invented a tuner.
@teresaravenshaw5477
@teresaravenshaw5477 2 жыл бұрын
If they made a tuner it'd have to include a variable drop tune function and a randomiser function. Sure, it'll do the who chromatic tuner schtick but it'll also allow you to electronically drop tune a semi-tone, a whole step, or two whole steps.

That avalanche run and data corruptor are the coolest pedals I've seen in a while... You just get burned and burned out after buying the same old copies of the same old pedals with a different brand stamped on the front... I would imagine the one with a transformer built in would also like itself towards the data corruptor as well as the avalanche run. Maybe T→avalanche→D.C. Would be a nice way to really have a bit of fun...
@mattgilbert7347
@mattgilbert7347 6 жыл бұрын
Aint1S I agree. After a while you hit the wall. I just went back to a volume pedal, a Tube Screamer, a BD2, and amp reverb. It was good "therapy". Ofc I went back to my big board, but it's true, that cliche: the tone really is in the fingers. I'm thinking Avalanche Run V.2. If you're using a dual amp setup, it would kill. For one, simple, beatiful mono pedal, it is hard to beat the Dispatch Master.

I kept noticing that too. I think Lee is a little too young to be so fusty and befuddled with new stuff. The dangers of prolonged exposure to blues I fear. EQD pedals aren't THAT weird. In fact for many of us they aren't weird at all - they're solving problems we've always had and giving us tools to do what we've always wanted to do. I couldn't go on without my Afterneath, I know that much. That pedal feels more like home to me than any traditional spring reverb.

I've had a couple of earthquaker devices pedals, which I've since sold, purely because I needed money at the time. But they have been absolutely incredible pedals. As someone who is anal about tone, (I hate boss drive, fuzz, and distortion pedals, I try to avoid boss pedals as much as I can) I can definitely say that these are great pedals and absolutely worth checking out.

Hi, Lee (or anyone who might know), do you recall an external expression pedal from around a decade (possibly older) ago, which attached to your desired pot/control via an armoured cable of some description, and by using the treadle, you could alter the volume/rate/effect of the pot it was connected to? It could be attached to any unit with a 'pot'/control. I only ever saw it advertised once, but would love to know if it was still in production.
@onbedoeldekut1515
@onbedoeldekut1515 6 жыл бұрын
It was a complete unit, the treadle and adaptor cable to connect to a pot, all one single piece. It was advertised in one of the British guitar magazines, but I can't recall which one. I'm just surprised that after all this time, they haven't become prominent, as the system seems more versatile than 'regular' expression pedals, which can only be attached to systems with a dedicated expression pedal jack. This unit could be attached to any unit with a pot, so you could set it up for volume, gain, tone, or anything which would require the player to bend down during a set to change settings.
