I saw this in New York toward the end of the summer, it's probably the best Broadway show I've ever seen. Corey is a phenomenal actor - his timing and emotion are just so spot on. I really hope he goes far. He's truly talented.

I think Corey Cott maybe should have been in Newsies film live. Besides him playing Jack he could play one of the Newsies characters that were taken out from the movie version, but still have big part in it.

Nine months ago, the show had been on Broadway for about 11 months. And by then, Ephraim Sykes, Jeremy Jordan, and Kyle Coffman had already left the cast, as well as one of the females if I'm not mistaken.That's really not saying much at all... I love the show, but the facts should be straight.

That's not true. Newsies has only been on Broadway since March 2012 and before that, it played for about a month (Sept-Oct 2011) at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey. How To Succeed's latest revival ran from Feb 2011 (previews) to May 2012. HTS having ~4 main actor changes likely had to do with the fact that you're not going to get Dan Radcliffe and John Larroquette to commit to more than a year. Plus, Darren Criss' brief run was a unique situation.

Jeremy Jordan left Newsies years ago, so Corey took the role pretty much until the show closed, but if you really wanna know where Jeremy went, he's gonna be starring in American Son soon, so he's in that haha

So when Jeremy left to go do other things like voicing Varian in the tangled show, and playing Winn in supergirl, that's when Corey took over his role as Jack Kelly? So when did Jeremy leave the Newsies cast?

Yea, he left for the show "Smash" in September of 2012 I believe, and Corey started promptly after Jeremy left. But yea, the show closed a while ago and it was revived in 2016 for a short period of time where Jeremy was Jack again and they filmed that one and put it on Netflix haha.
