I say USA all the time, to avoid using "American" which is inaccurate. Americans are South American, Canadian, Mexican, any country in Latin America, etc. In other words, anywhere in the Americas. I'm not a learned man but it seems some how out of sorts to send billions in aid to other countries when we have people starving here in the U.S., when 600,000 plus people are homeless here and when many elderly still have to choose between paying their utility bills and paying for their medications. I'm not against helping others, but it just seems we should start with fixing our own problems before we try to help fixing anyone else's. Just my opinion.

Those billions of dollar are actually going to places like Lockheed Martin in New York & other companies in our country to produce weapons, tools, war planes, food etc., to ship to those 3 countries. It is not literal cash going to them. I'm with you though, I want some of that food, a private plane would due me and some tools would be great. We must ask ourselves, at what point do we collectively as a nation continue to condone and remain complicit to our (U.S.) government's support and financial backing of the military industrial complex/war machine, and it's complete and utter disregard for human lives under the false guise of supporting Israel's mission to eliminate Hamas? Genocide is evident no matter how much B.S. our government tries to slather on and present to us and the world. Even though, I'm fairly certain that I'm.older than most of the folks taking part in the protests across our country (U.S.), I'm extremely proud of their galiant, noble, and selfless effort to stand up for helpless, innocent, war-torn people half way around the world. Keep fighting the good fight, every moment of every day.
