You can literally see the host getting more and more intimidated by his own lack of accomplishments in comparison to Nathan. Its funny because it is in large part due to this type of behavior that many people dont accomplish much in life. They are too busy trying to deal with the anxiety induced by comparing themselves and what they have with that of others. This distracts you from being as curious as is need for a life like Nathans.

It's interesting to see how Nathan gets so into the technicalities of different subjects and produces great results. Looking at his stature and health state, I wonder what would come out of investigating and understanding his health just as greatly as he does with those "external challenges", and applying his curious mind to his health...You can only do as much and go as far as you're well and not dead, in the end...

I'm sure he has a team working on that one as well. 😏 All jokes aside, it really is mind-boggling to see such a brilliant mind not take proper care of their body. Especially since carrying excess weight means less blood flow to the brain.

The reflective particulates present in the atmosphere are usually called pollution. It is understood, via peer reviewed studies, that when global temperatures rose during the pandemic, that short term rise was directly tied to the lessened human activity which was producing less atmospheric pollution. However, in the wider perspective, Nathan seems to have ignored that Earth's magnetosphere is currently 15-20% less powerful than it was in 1900. That rate of decline is currently accelerating at a rate of at least 5% per decade. The magnetosphere is the Earth's ultimate armor against cosmic radiation. Without this protection life on our planet would cease to exist as we know it. Adding pollution to our atmosphere and/or oceans is a band-aid on a substantive problem which we have absolutely zero control over. That so-called "answer" offered is a short term possible solution that will probably result in unintended, negative consequential damages. Who truly believes that there can be a positive outcome from intentional pollution...even if you call it geoengineering?

Intellectual Ventures invents stuff and the big tech companies try to steal it? Hardly. I was one of the first small app developers who got legally threatened by this patent troll for having downloadable content in my app, because Mhrvold had purchased some ancient fax machine patent from a defunct company and tried to use it to extort anyone who made an app with downloadable content. Wish you would have addressed this rather than letting him lie about where all his money comes from. He's dishonest and uses his money to prey on others without his resources.

This guy is a notorious patent troll. His company has also bought up over 30,000 patents from other inventors and uses his portfolio of patents to sue and bully companies. He's the enemy of innovation by making everything more expensive for anyone attempting to DO anything. His company doesn't actually DO anything itself. The whole purpose of his company seems to be to make a lot of money by stifling innovation. You really soft-pedaled this piece on him.
