It is true, contemplating death can be chilling! However, to contemplate life and death is a common daily practice for Buddhists and that suffering is a part of life. It is quite deep and central to the spiritual philosophy. It's basically just a Buddhist meme 😹

Cats usually gnaw on grass to settle their stomachs and can’t get any nutritional value from it. Cats are obligate carnivores, and require meat (though nutritional substitution works too) in order to sustain themselves.

Earlier in the comments it was said that the monks do feed the cat kibble, and as owner of 4 cats, I know that cats accustomed to kibble are not very attracted to actual meat and fish. Here adding to the stress of strange people offering different food, it's natural that she declines and runs away.

Well she is bodhisattva which are monks or holy Buddhist figures who have achieved nirvana but choose to stay in the cycle of recartion to stay behind and live multiple lives too help others in those lives

so this Cat was raised by hand. I Think human are there best friend and this cat will all do like human. Also meditation. I think it is fun for the cat. thei are sleeping very ofthen, so insted of sleap she do like human and ist meditate. (Sorry not the best in english)

해탈보살이 이미 오래전 입적 했다니 마음 한구석이 아려오네요 15년을 함께했던 동생이자 아들이었던 반려견을 작년에 떠나보내서인지 해탈이를 아끼는 스님의 모습과 사랑 받는 해탈이 모습이 작년까지 저의 모습과 은이의 모습 같아서....

해탈보살님 극락왕생하시고 비록 고양이 몸으로 오셨지만 이 생에 열심히 닦으셔서 복을 많이 쌓으시고 가셨네요. 계속 해탈보살님 영상 보러 옵니다. 그 만큼 많은 사람들이 기억해 주고 따른다는 인연인가봅니다. 다음 생엔 불자들을 해탈 시켜주는 큰 스님으로 오시길 바랍니다.

Haetal - “Bodhisattva of great relaxation!!!” 😂😂😂😊 Incredibly wonderful. I live in Canada. I joined a local Korean Zen Buddhist temple in Toronto back in 2011. The Venerable Samu Sunim gave me the name Jeong Gí. I didn’t realize this temple was a Korean Zen Buddhist temple, I thought it was just a Zen Buddhist temple. But I would latter learn that it’s a temple in the Korean Buddhist tradition. So I liked how a lot of what I saw in your video looks familiar- even though I am not Korean, and live in Canada, lol. It was a heart warming video. Thank you. 🙏 😊
