As a first time investor in a house hacking deal (hopefully i’ll be closing on a property soon 🙏🙌) i’m rethinking if i should rent out the unit long term or if air bnb would make more sense?? long term rental has more stability and less headache, but the income from air bnb could be really useful!!

How do you go about collecting rent payments in a pandemic/recession if a tenant no longer is able to pay rent?

This strategy changed my life. My first house hack has increased my net worth by 300k in 3 years ( more than my day job). Second house hack the we just bought 1 Month ago. 5 bedroom house me and my wife and son and my wife is pregnant with our second are renting 4 bedrooms some to traveling nurses.

This guy is good at telling a story, but this "deal" makes no sense. He say,s the home's max market value is 125k and then goes and pays around 130k, where's the deal? He's basically saying, just go out and buy any old house at over full market value and setup an AirBNB.

This looks like an ad for BiggerPockets, me no like it. Too much plugging.

Property managers charge an ARM, and a LEG where I am. They also expect high priced repairmen. AND! If you don't watch them they're known to secretly rent it at times and secretly pocket the money and cheat you and these are licensed Brokers! Trust no no one, that's the general rule of thumb in my town. If you're lucky enough to live next door, or very close by you generally can/should do it yourself. Or, if you dare to hire one of the over priced & dishonest PM's, watch & keep track of the property's occupancy like a hawk!! And be prepared to Fire and sue them. Have fun!
