I love the detail of Barnaby being immediately pissed off at you interrupting him so rudely, only to take joy in realizing you are alive and not another ghost.

For VAs, this must be the mother of all voice acting flexes. The characters I've seen so far (Barnaby and the theatre guy) are extremely cartoony. You really have to do chaotic things with your voice to get it to match the characters energy. And _THEN_ you have to sing while doing that. You have to keep the rhythms within certain parameters, you have to hit those notes (especially for Barnaby, he goes _high_ ) and you have to keep good breath support. All of that, without slipping out of character even a little bit. And since it's a cartoon, any pulling back from the chaos becomes all the more noticable. There's not much wiggle room there either. I love how Billie grabs her own pudge when Barnaby says "well you can't go like THAT". Every little extra detail like his face spinning when he's talking to her, the cracks on the gemstone itself and all is just a feast for the eyes and coming out today was a top notch flavor win.

List of all the changes spotted so far! 1. The gem has more texture and detail. 2. There's a bed/chair where Barnaby disappears during the cutscene instead of nothing. 3. Barnaby wears the gem on his chest instead of just a yellow circle. 4. Sometimes you would see Barnaby pop into place for the chase right after the cutscene but that is not present in this footage and the chase starts with him properly in place. 5. Barnaby's knife swipe has a red and more detailed glow before he strikes instead of blue. 6. Barnaby no longer instant-transmission teleports down the slope and instead slides down the slope behind Billie. 7. Barnaby no longer swipes his knife through the giant pillow and instead swipes after it. 8. The meme pose that Billie does is next to a tombstone with her KO face on it at the end instead of the tombstone just saying "Press Any Button" which is amazing. 9. Even more changes spotted in the replies below! Edit: On 8. some people are mistaking that I'm saying that they added the meme pose, but I'm only referring to the KO face on the Tombstone.

The way everything works together, and how chaotic it all feels all while fitting together with the song without missing a beat really nails the immersion factor. Deffo feels like youre stuck in the clutches of someone thats absolutely toying with your mortality just for the fun of it. Very well designed segment.

Gotta say, this is shaping up so beautifully with all of the additional efforts you all are putting in to this project. I am admitting that I wonder if Barnaby has different statements if you die to each of the obstacles, if at all. Whether he does or not, this more finished form of this match has solidified my drive to purchase the game when it is released.

I love the little detail with Barnaby's eyes at the beginning of the song! They change to different expressions. Those small details I adore in games, ones that people wouldn't normally notice for a variety of reasons (In this case running away and needing to focus on where you're going)

4:34 I think itd be cool if when barnaby says shoe, a giant shoe should fall down and smack down with a very audible *THUD*. I think itd fit the song well, and be an extra challenge in the last part of the song, as it seems a little barren during this section. This song has been an earworm among our group! The only thing that bugs me is there's nothing really choreographing the camera turns or hint that they're going to happen. I think it'd be neat if Barnaby's face rotated to show how he's effecting the perspective, since that's part of his character.

I feel like I've been seeing this same scene for half a decade now. We all love it! We really do. Hire more people, find backers. I can't wait to play this in 2029. Happy Halloween! You're so talented, find people, find companies that can make this an actual reality. This one chase scene has been floating around as what seems a solo project forever far too long now. Harsh, blunt. But, this is incredible. It deserves to be more. As do you. I have no idea how. But, I hope you find a team and company that can finish this dream. Appreciate this near six minutes of game. Which has appealed to millions. Let's hope that turns into 6 hours of original ideas of musical fun and epic characters. The current view on the video sure say we want to see more. As a fan. I hope this isn't all there is. After so long watching and listening to this one very particular moment. Critical, yes. But, you are amazing. Be proud. Just hope you can take it further.

I think the pacing in the cutscene is so much better in this version, there are fewer awkward pauses and it adds to the comedy of Barnaby's character

AAAA It looks SO GOOD!!!! The sound effects and the gem is so pretty and the new visual effects in the chase I LOVE THIS, and of course you can't forget the star of the show (And my number 1 favorite character) Barnaby to me he is and forever will be the best boi!!!
