Oh Cherry what a wonderful experience. I am 56 years old, I got my first toy owl when I was 8, they where not as popular then as they are now. I have a house full of owl ornaments. This is my idea of heaven. 😍😍🦉

Norman the Eagle Owl is absolutely stunning! His story is heartbreaking though; owls should never be kept as pets. That's why I'll definitely be donating to these guys - it's important to have places that raise awareness, and allow for magical experiences, in a controlled environment where the animals are cared for by people who know what they're doing. When I finally get the chance to visit the UK, I'll definitely try to visit Feathers and Fur! (along with Punnydukes, hehe) 🥰

I see the great grey owl here every now and again and it's so majestic. But you can't hear it, it's absolutely quiet you just happen to look in a direction and see it. We have several owls here but the great grey always makes me stop mid step just to watch them

I like how some of the owls have names from fantasy books. Like the snowy was named Gimli from lotr and the barn owl was called Dobby.

I had the opportunity to hold a European Eagle Owl, when I was in Edinburgh. Draco had an Eagle Owl. It cost me a £5 donation but well worth it. He was very photogenic and we got some great photos. For some reason, Cherry looks like Hermione here. Lovely video!

Omg, this is such a sweet video, Cherry! I volunteer weekly at Feathers and Fur, so I help Sadie care for the birds, fly them and help her run the centre when I'm there and I'll be helping her move the centre over Christmas! Dobby is actually the bird I get on best with when I'm there and she actually comes to sit on my shoulder and nibbles my earlobes. Sadie told me on the Sunday before your visit about how excited she was to see you again! She showed me your photoshoot with Gimli and they're stunning! I've got to say owls are my favourite, I worked at a falconry for 3 years and there was a tawny owl who I adored his name was Archie,in all my 3 years working at the falconry I didn't know owls could have ticklish feet. You learn something new everyday.

Loved the video! I held a owl at a bird sanctuary that I used to work at here in America. I still have that picture as well. It really is a magical experience.

I enjoyed watching this because it made me love them even more and connect with my grandma who appositely loved the snowy owls! I love owls as much as she did even have a tattoo for her with a sleeping owl!

Cherry Iv been to several different falconries over the years. I can definitely agree that it’s Awesome, cool, fun, exciting every time I get to hold one of the birds and even more so when Iv got to fly them.

Very similar to my mantises,all of mine display remarkable intelligence and sentience,they learn,they strategize,they aren’t dumb insects,they form bonds with me and I absolutely adore them,the downside is the life span,very short,only 7-81/2 months,it’s so hard saying goodbye to my mantises every year.
