I totally understand how you feel! I got married last year to my Punjabi Sikh husband! His family was totally against us getting married, they forced him to break up with me and he was going to have arranged marriage but then he stood up for himself and us and now we are together ! I met them last year when they came to Canada for the weddings, I was very nervous and thought they hated me. But they love me like their own daughter and sister, there was just unknown of me and fear from before. I am going to India this December for the first time for our reception there! So excited

Liked the INNOCENCE ! I recollected the day when I picked up my Only son's Girl friend, who arrived from Toronto to India,with a silent proposal of marriage which my Son was perhaps hesitant to disclose to me! In 15 minutes of driving to home,enroute she hugged me and confessed that she expected an Angry man, but proved to be softer perhaps than her own parents,who only had reservations! Were new here and just discovered your channel and love it! We are also a intercultural family. My husband is Indian and Im Hispanic American, living in America. I can remember the first meeting, the first I also flew alone and it was so scary when we landed and nobody understood me. Brings back so many memories, but now we have 2 kids and married fo over 10 years. You will have such a wonderful life together. Cant wait to see more!
