Hello friends! I know it’s been a while since I last posted a video but I am so excited to share with you what happened when I gave birth to our little princess, Luna.
The days leading up to my baby’s delivery were very rough and stressful - we had to take RT-PCR tests twice, I had false labor or Braxton Hicks, and I experienced stress, anxiety and discomfort. And yet, amidst all these negative feelings, I was so so so excited to meet Luna.
At 39 weeks and 5 days, it finally happened. Our baby Luna was born. Sobrang hirap ipaliwanag nung pakiramdam noong una ko siyang nakita at nayakap. No words can explain it. I was so filled with happiness, love and gratitude to the point na parang hindi na nag-mamatter yung lahat ng pain at stress na naramdaman ko before and during the delivery. It was all worth it.
Honestly, I couldn’t have done it without the endless support and help from our doctors - my OB, Dr. Geraldine Mendoza, Dr. Connie Huan and from Luna’s Pediatrician, Dr. Jennifer Tiglao, and all the frontliners, family members and friends, and especially from my partner. They all made me feel safe and secured, and they helped me ease my anxieties during the entire journey Thank you all so much!
And now that we’re finally back home, I can really say that being a first time mom is not easy. Our little family is still adjusting but even with all the worries and fears, I know I am not alone. I have family, friends and a very supportive and loving partner. I am always reminded to cherish every moment, day by day with our greatest blessing, Luna ❤
