Have you seen Cyclops in the recent X comics? Two moments from them got me really interested in reading more of him, such a boss character

@@danielwood6833 that’s more like it. Months ago I was in the process of writing a fan story on Cyclops to where he is depicted right. What I like about the guy is not only his powers but something far superior to his powers: His tactical, strategic mind. Imagine this that I wrote for example: Cyclops powers have gone for some period of time. He is and Wolverine and trying to gain answers from this one guy but the guy doesn’t talk. Cyclops puts on a little intimidation and kicks a car over flipping it on its head. Wolverine is impressed by Cyclops strength and they get the info they need. Wolverine asks, “Since when did you gain all that muscle, Cyc.” Cyclops explains that he hasn’t. The moment he kicked the car it was ShadowCat and Beast who were underneath the car. Shadowcat phased herself and Beast from the ground underneath and Beast, with one hand, flipped the car over the moment Scott pretended to kick the car. Cyclops’ strategic mind at work.

Well, there's one major difference between Scott and this version of Miguel. Scott is, and has been for the most part, pretty level-headed and fair as a leader. Miguel, on the other hand, is clearly letting his guilt and bitterness cloud his judgment, turning him into a borderline tyrant. Even the mere possibility that canon events can be averted, as we see in the ending, won't sway him. Especially when Miles Morales is concerned. Miguel projects all his negative feelings onto Miles, to the point where it feels like he hates him just for existing. Insulting him for supposedly being a "mistake", a dangerous anomaly, and telling him he doesn't belong or even deserve to be a Spider-Man. It feels like Miguel's beef with Miles goes beyond the mission, coming from spite more than anything else. He's angry his mistake caused an anomaly that cost him everything, while Miles *is* an anomaly but got to live a happy and fulfilling life. If Miguel can't be happy, why should this punk kid be happy?

Cyclops has a sense of humor, but he struggles and suffers from a bunch of team leader pressure. I can't see him ignoring Mayday or not admiring pictures of his friends' kids when they're showing it off. I also think he would have handled this whole multiverse thing more maturely. I can also see him yelling at one of his guys for bringing a baby on a mission if any of them would even think of it.

They are all Spider people, a simple trash can throw is not gonna "hurt" Miles.
