Congratulations you crazy kids! So sweet. Love seeing daddy birds love on their kids. I'm watching baby owlets and bald eagles as well and they are helping the moms too, including sitting on eggs on a snowy day. They all warm my heart. ❤

Have you been watching Jackie and Shadow in Big Bear? I don’t think their eggs are viable, anymore . So sad for them! The winter was just too harsh for them, I think.

Can they, yes, however they usually don't. Ellie was bonded with Mardi for years before Rukus. Our boy Hendrick was interested in Aurora last year and now he's bonded to Stassi. We leave it up to them.

Unfortunately that happens. They're much like humans in this regards. They love each other, tolerate one another or don't care at all. True bonds can take a long time too.
