It's a bit funnier if you understand Spanish. He was saying anus instead of years because he was omiting to pronounce the ñ from año properly. It's pronounced anio and it mean year, ano is anus. Also while coger means "to take" in Spain, it means to fuck in Mexico. Also latin families are usually super nice they would not act all weird like that. They would probably just get a good laugh out of this terrible Spanish. I'm a Canadian guy married to a Mexican and I always have a good time with my step family. Edit: In-laws, not step family.

Hahaha that’s so hilarious 😆. If I’m in that situation I’ll not speak Spanish coz I don’t want missed up with words even though I was mistaken by looking at me. People think that I speaks Spanish which is not. How I wish I can speak fluently. 😆

I know a couple of families that, due to different circumstances, ended up hosting an old women in their homes who became their "abuela" and lived with them until death. It is not so rare in small communities and It is very caring.

As a brazilian who speaks portuguese like me, the pronounce of focus could be tricky. Most of time you will learn that f* word altough it is not what we're asking for. lmao

Reminds me of when a former Mexican boyfriend of mine asked me to make him a bracelet with "Jello" beads... I was trying to explain to him that Jello would fall right off of it... until several minutes later when I realized he meant the color yellow - LOL!
